A program of Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada

Get Involved

You can join the GIVE65 movement!  Registered charities, businesses, corporations, foundations and individuals are invited to join and support GIVE65 and to create hope for seniors – especially those most in need of our help.

Registered charities

GIVE65 offers two opportunities for registered charities to raise funds and help seniors in their community.

  1. Apply to participate in Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada's inaugural GIVE65 Event. Learn more about how this 65-hour event works.

  2. Registered charities that offer programs or services to seniors can also utilize the GIVE65 platform throughout the year (outside of the GIVE65 Event), including year-end giving and the #GivingTuesday celebration which is held on November 28 this year (2017). Registered charities are invited to submit an application (February 14 - April 30, 2018, and August 1 - October 15, 2018) to feature a fundraising project on the GIVE65 platform at GIVE65.ca. Learn more about how this works.

Businesses, Corporations, and Foundations

GIVE65 is the premiere crowd-fundraising platform for businesses, corporations and other foundations to invest in the growing senior population. Philanthropic support of the GIVE65 Incentive Fund enables Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada to make matching grants and bonus grants possible for registered charities participating on the GIVE65 platform. Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada welcomes collaboration with sponsors that see the importance of helping seniors in need.

Our mission is bigger than just one company.

Donors and Anyone Who Wants to Help

Those who have a desire to help less fortunate, vulnerable seniors can visit GIVE65.ca to achieve their charitable goals. The registered charities featured on GIVE65 have been carefully selected by Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada and verified to be in good standing. All donors will be issued annual tax statements to all GIVE65 donors by February 28 of the calendar year that follows the year of the donation. This allows individual taxpayers to claim their donations on their annual income tax returns. Donors will also receive an email confirmation of their donation(s) that documents their donation to benefit the charitable organisation(s) they choose to support through GIVE65.

All gifts make a difference – from the minimum donation of $10 to the larger $1,000 donation. The donor chooses the charity they wish to support. And, every gift creates hope for seniors.

— Roger Baumgart, Home Instead Senior Care Foundation of Canada Executive Director
